So we were feeling a bit bad about not joining fleets, and basically pvp wise we slowed down. The massive fight in the Hed system kinda left us jaded. The tidi was so terrible I was happy when I got insta popped. It was worse than usual due to the large numbers of drones. I think CCP improved things cause it was bad but not 23 mins till your ships systems responded. I think it was more like 8-9 minutes.
Jaded we stayed in branch, made a bit of isk but basically didnt do much at all. Then there was a ping....a ping about a PL system that had lost sov and the CFC/RUS coalitions were going to steamroll in and take the system.
I decided that this might create some interesting content because that system was a staging system. This means that most of PL's carriers, dreadnoughts, and sub capital ships were in the station. THAT meant....FIGHTS! So I bought a domi off of contracts for 340mill insured it and got on the titan.
In Korea it was around 11pm when we started....it didn't end for us until 5am the next day....all of in 10% time dilation. Basically time dilation of tidi is a unique feature that allows thousands of players to fight it out by slowing time in game. so likely the big battle was only 1.5 hours of intense combat stretched to 6-7 hours.
It was worth it! When the battle started we took out an archon with our domi's. I knew this was something to get in on.
Of course I got popped, and reshipped and came back in a cheap e-war cruiser fit it so that it could lock targets out to 200km away and went right back in. I am so glad I did. The result was for yogi 3 titan kill mails 4 dreads, and 2 carriers. For me..a whopping 6 titans!!!!!! My kill isk ratio is forever green!!!! LOL
Oh Lumbo and decimager....I am so sorry but...you guys missed some awesome killz!!!
